Avi has been a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner, since 2008. Avi has brought together his experience in treating a wide variety of health problems with acupuncture, whether it is any type of pain, digestive challenges, or difficulties such as emotional stress, or sleep issues.
Avi holds a BA from Rutgers College, and a TCMP (Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner) degree from the Kootenay Columbia College in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, which included training both in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. He also holds an active NCCAOM certification (National Certification Commission in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
Avi was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and has lived in North-eastern New Jersey for the majority of his life. He currently resides in West Caldwell, NJ with his family. He also enjoys playing the guitar and piano.
